A Luxury Alternative to a Hospital Bed

Need the vertical height adjustment of a hospital bed, but want the comfort and look of a real home mattress? That’s the Hi-Low SL. Its base raises and lowers vertically at the touch of a button — going as low as 16.5″ with the mattress — making it far easier and safer to get in and out of bed. It’s the ideal choice for home healthcare and assisted living, and for caregivers who need easier transfers, all without the institutional feel of a hospital bed.

Every Hi-Low SL includes a lifetime limited warranty, one-touch wireless or wired remote, a heavy-duty high-density padded base, and a reinforced frame rated to 400 lbs for a single occupant (up to 700 lbs in a dual-occupant configuration, with no single occupant over 400 lbs). It comes with factory-installed mounting plates for easy side-rail installation at the head and foot, and locking casters or stationary leg pads.

Sizes: Twin, Full, Queen, and Split King, in 74″, 80″, and 84″ lengths. Side rails are optional. Note that headboards and footboards don’t attach directly to the Hi-Low frame — many customers mount a headboard to the wall behind the bed for a decorative finish.

Mix-and-Match for Couples

Because Flex-A-Bed king beds are built from two twin bases side by side, couples with different needs can pair one of each model — for example, a Hi-Low SL for one partner and a Premier for the other — and still share one king-sized bed. Ask us about a combination king configuration.
